Let’s chat about those times when life feels heavy… and how you can start letting go of those burdens with more ease.
Last week, life felt really heavy for me. It was hard to find the good or feel happy.
Has that ever happened to you?
If it has, number one—you’re not alone.
And number two—there are things you can do about it.
Let’s talk about what a burden really does.
For me, a burden adds weight to your mental and emotional space. It creates heaviness, clouds your thinking, and can quickly move you into a victim state. I even noticed it physically—like I was carrying weight on my shoulders, neck, and back.
Another piece is that life can just feel hard. You might feel like crying more, sleeping more, or even eating more—which can add physical weight too.
But when we shift into a place of empowerment, everything changes. Life feels lighter. Thinking becomes clearer. And I notice I naturally take better care of myself—choosing foods that support me and moving my body with more ease and grace.
So if you’re ready to let go of your burdens, here are a few simple things you can try. Just pick what feels right for you.
First—give yourself credit.
You noticed something feels off and you want to change it. That’s a huge step.
Ways to Release Your Burdens
- Take 3 minutes, grab a notebook, and write down how you feel. Then rip out the page and throw it away.
- Imagine your burdens on your body. What do they look like? Rocks, colors, even something funny or strange. Gather them up with a net, place them into a bubble of love, and send that bubble back to before it was ever created.
- Use Ho’oponopono to help clear and release.
- Try a mini meditation—check out my mini session playlist on YouTube if you’d like extra support. WATCH HERE
Now that you’ve made space, it’s important to fill it with something new.
Ways to Shift into Empowerment
- Write down something you’re grateful for about the situation.
- Imagine a star or flower dropping into your heart, expanding into light, and filling your body with new energy.
- Ask yourself: what is the gift in this experience? Write it down or simply feel into it.
Give this a try and see how it feels.
You might notice the heaviness starts to lift… and you begin to feel more like yourself again—clear, grounded, and empowered.
Until next week. 🌿
Lots of Love,
Sharon
