Hello Human Angel,

“Does it feel like your day is moving too fast? Let’s talk about how quickly the days seem to be moving lately.”

I don’t know about you, but I start my day and then—wow—I look up and it’s already early afternoon. Somehow, time has flown by, and that list of things I wanted to accomplish isn’t getting checked off the way I hoped.

If this sounds familiar, this blog is for you.

So what can help you slow down and still feel like you actually did something meaningful today? Here are a few simple, powerful tools you can begin using right away.

1. Start with self-care
Have you done one of your self-care routines today?
When you give yourself self-care first, you fill your bucket before the day even begins. It creates a feeling of love and accomplishment right from the start, instead of waiting for it later.

2. Create a to-do list (or at least a clear intention)
Did you write a list—or make a mental note—of what you need to get done?
Creating a list helps bring your day together so you can focus on what truly matters, instead of getting pulled into scrolling or other distractions.

3. Acknowledge what you complete
As you move through your list, did you give yourself a pat on the back for what you did get done?
Gratitude for your accomplishments—big or small—continues to fill your bucket and creates more space and joy in your world. It’s simple, yet something we often forget.

4. Pause and breathe for one minute
Just one minute.
Breathing gives your body and mind a moment of rest from the many thoughts and emotions moving through you throughout the day. This small pause can shift everything.

5. End the day with kindness
Before you go to bed, tell yourself, “Great job.”
Look at what you did accomplish. This shifts your focus toward what you want, instead of what you don’t want. Even on a hard day, you made it through—and that absolutely counts.

These are five simple tools you can choose to implement into your life. They help you begin focusing on what is working, rather than what isn’t. In the energy we’re in right now, it’s especially important to focus on what you want to experience, instead of what you don’t.

The more you focus on what’s going right, the more space, love, and joy you create in your world.

Remember—you are here to offer your gifts and help make the world a better place.

Shining your light begins by focusing on the good within you.

NOTES: I invite you to choose just one of these practices and make it yours this week. Notice how even the smallest moments of presence can change the way your day unfolds.

Lots of love,

Sharon
